Ezra celebrated his 8th birthday on January 22, 2012. We had the grandparents over for dinner, dessert and present-opening as usual. Ezra received a bunch of legos and some Bionicles (sp?). Ezra is such a happy kid and brings a zest to life. He is smart and always has "fun facts" for us (we love to use that phrase from "Mall Cop"). Ezra loves Star Wars, Transformers, Legos, K-Nex, Pokemon, Beyblade--pretty much any popular toy/character for boys. He loathes Barbie and anything his sisters like. ;-) Ezra is in 2nd grade and reading on a 5th grade level. He is always looking out for the underdog and wants everything to be fair. He has a strong desire to do what is right. He is a fabulous tattle-taler because of this trait. ;-) We just love Ezra. He is a unique child and a blessing to our family.

Ezra and his younger siblings are in their jammies because it was a school night and they showered right before the party, so that they would be ready for bed after it was done. In retrospect--jammies are weird for bday pictures. ;-)
