Every day for school, I have the kids write in a journal. Kenyon gets exhausted of writing about every day life (as does Ryland) and so he writes eight-sentence stories. Here is the one he wrote on Friday--it made me smile:
Once there was a boy. His dad was sad. The boy's name was Will. Will asked his dad, "Dad, why are you sad?" Dad said, "We are poor." Will said nothing. His dad said, "Sorry son." Will got some money. The End.
(I plan to update this blog soon. I promise.)
